Consultation – Tarvin Primary School reduction of Published Admission Number (PAN)
The Trust Board, Local Governing Body and the Leadership Team of Tarvin Primary School propose to reduce the Published Admission Number (PAN) for new Reception pupils from 45 to 30, to take effect from September 2024.
The proposed change will assist the Trust to provide stability in its long-term planning and allow the school to continue to secure high-quality educational outcomes for the pupils currently on our roll. In making this proposal, the Trust has considered the future projected pupil numbers within the Tarvin area and the data indicates that the proposed change to PAN will still meet the requirements for places from within the school’s catchment area.
Sandstone Trust, as the admissions authority for Tarvin Primary School, is seeking comments on the proposed change. It is important to the Sandstone Trust Board to consider the views of our parents, stakeholders and the wider community. How to make your views known
The consultation will run from 23 November 2022 until 31 January 2023. All stakeholders are invited to submit comments (using the Stakeholder Feedback Form) in writing about the proposal to:
