Academic Results

The headline progress and attainment measures in the school performance at the end of key stage 2 are: 

 

  • 64% (national 59%) of pupils met the ‘expected standard’ in English reading, English writing and mathematics (combined) at the end of key stage 2 
  • 74% (national 74%) attained the ‘expected standard’ in reading; 23% (national 28%) greater depth  
  • 82% (national 69%) attained the ‘expected standard’ in writing; 26% (national 13%) greater depth 
  • 79% (national 71%) attained the ‘expected standard’ in mathematics; 23% (national 22%) greater depth 
  • 87% (national 72%) attained the ‘expected standard’ in GPS; 33% (national 28%) greater depth 

 

  • the pupils’ average scaled score at the end of key stage 2 
  • in English reading was 105.5 
  • in mathematics was 104.6 
  • in grammar, punctuation and spelling was 107.5 

 

  • the pupils’ average progress  
  • in English reading was +0.5 (‘average’) 
  • in English writing was +2.08 (‘significantly above average’) 
  • in mathematics was +0.6 (‘average’)
